The Pots Method

Academy · Online · 8 weeks

Become a certified biophilic designer with The Pots Method and close your first $10,000 in installs in under 90 days.

Eight weeks of structured learning with Mariana — six modules, twelve live sessions, one portfolio review. You walk out certified, listed in our public referral directory, and able to spec biophilic installs without us behind you. $1,900. Next cohort: September 2026.

  • One commercial client = up to $19,500 in 24-month lifetime value, between install ($3K–$15K) and recurring maintenance ($200–$1,200/mo)
  • Average time-to-first-client for past cohorts: 45 days — using the offer-builder and call scripts we hand you
  • Biophilic design is the fastest-growing commercial-interiors category, projected ~12% annual growth through 2026
  • Direct access to our South Florida nursery — your install margin grows, your cost basis drops
  • Cold outreach, social-media playbooks and paid-ads campaigns taught step by step — the client-acquisition piece most architecture programs skip
  • Install, maintenance and addendum contracts fully templated — yours to white-label from day one
  • Three monthly payments of $660, no interest — full refund if you drop out in week one
  • Cohort of 32–50 working designers + a 90-minute live portfolio review with Mariana

Is this for you?

Quick fit check.

This is for you if

  • You're an interior designer, architect or decorator
  • You bill clients for design or specification work
  • You've watched biophilic walls trend and never closed one
  • You'd quote a $40K install if you knew what to write
  • You can commit to 8 weeks + Thursdays at 6pm ET
  • You want a portfolio review with Mariana, not just a recorded lecture

Not for you if

  • You're a hobbyist looking for general plant-care info
  • You expect job placement after the course
  • You can't dedicate 6–8 hours of homework per week
  • You expect a lecture-only format with no portfolio work
  • You think specifying plants is 'common sense'
  • You're unwilling to do outreach or sales for your own clients

What clients say

Real installs. Real venues.

Common concerns

What usually stops people.

  • "I already specify plants for projects."

If you can map a 12-zone hotel lobby by light envelope, name the right Sansevieria varietal per zone, and write the maintenance contract — you're ahead of this. Most architects aren't.

  • "I don't have time for 12 live sessions."

Live sessions are 60 minutes, Thursday 6pm ET. They're recorded. We expect 8 of 12 live; the rest you watch back.

  • "$1,900 is steep."

One spec on one boutique-hotel project pays for the curriculum 4–6x. Most students close that within 90 days of certification using our offer-builder.

  • "Will I actually use this?"

Module 8 is a portfolio review with Mariana. You bring a real client brief; we work through the spec together. You leave with billable work.

  • "Is this accredited?"

Yes. We're an approved AIA Continuing Education Provider and an IIDA partner. The 8 weeks earn 16 AIA LU credits and 16 IIDA CEUs.

  • "What if I miss a live session?"

Recorded the same day, uploaded within 24 hours. You watch back, ask questions in the cohort Slack, and join the next live.

  • "Do I get a certificate at the end?"

Yes — signed by Mariana and listed in our public referral directory. The only biophilic-design certification with an actual referral pipeline behind it.

  • "Can I take it at my own pace?"

No. Cohorts are intentional — you graduate alongside the same 32–50 designers. The community is half the value.

  • "What's the acceptance rate?"

Around 60%. We screen for working designers — hobbyists get redirected to Workshops.

  • "Do you offer payment plans?"

Three monthly payments of $660, no interest. Most students choose this.

  • "What software do I need?"

Notion (free), Zoom, a phone for fieldwork photos. Nothing else. We don't do CAD or 3D — that's your existing tool.

  • "Will there be live Q&A with Rodolfo?"

Yes. Module 7 is a 90-minute live Q&A with both Rodolfo and Mariana. Past cohorts list it as the highest-impact session.

  • "I'm outside the US — does this work in my time zone?"

Yes. Sessions are 6pm ET; recordings up within a day. Last cohort had students from 11 countries — we adapt the cohort Slack to whatever hours work.
