The Pots Method

For homes in South Florida

Turn your home into a living indoor jungle of 12+ plants and keep them alive year-round with one monthly visit, in under 4 weeks.

We choose the right species for your light. We deliver them. We install them. We come back every month to keep them alive. If anything dies in the first 90 days, we replace it free.

  • The home that lowers your cortisol the moment you walk in — biophilic interiors trigger a stress-recovery response within minutes (Ulrich, 1984)
  • Cleaner indoor air, demonstrably — NASA's Clean Air Study (1989) found that common houseplants absorb VOCs, formaldehyde and benzene
  • Better sleep in plant-rich bedrooms — humidity climbs 5–15% and overnight CO2 build-up drops in closed rooms
  • Pet- and kid-safe by default — every brief is cross-checked against the ASPCA toxic-plant list before we spec a single species
  • The Pinterest board you saved three years ago, finally installed — each species hand-picked for your exact light envelope
  • Monthly visits handle everything — watering, pruning, soil refresh, replacement; you never lift a watering can
  • Portable if you move — wall pieces leave a coin-sized patch, free-standing installs touch nothing
  • 90-day install guarantee — anything that dies in the first three months, we replace free

Common concerns

What usually stops people.

  • "I always end up killing the plants."

That's why we keep visiting. Bi-weekly for living-jungle setups, monthly for simpler installs. We catch issues before you see them.

  • "I don't want a maintenance fee forever."

You can skip maintenance after the first month. Many clients do — the install is yours, the species are right for your light, you know what to do.

  • "I don't have direct sunlight."

Most of South Florida's apartments don't. We have eight species we specify for north-facing rooms and 35-45% humidity — they thrive.

  • "Will it look like a jungle?"

Only if you want it to. Most residential installs are 6–12 specimens — sculptural, not maximalist.

  • "I have pets — are the plants safe?"

Yes. Every residential brief is screened against the ASPCA toxic-plant list. We never spec a species toxic to cats or dogs when they're in the home.

  • "My kids will pull leaves or knock pots over."

We weight planters with internal sandbags, anchor wall pieces with masonry screws, and choose species that handle the occasional yank.

  • "I rent — can I take it with me when I move?"

Yes. Statement and Ensemble installs are 100% portable. Whole-home installs are designed to come down in a single afternoon.

  • "Will it damage my walls or paint?"

Free-standing installs touch nothing. Wall-mounted pieces use anchors that leave a coin-sized patch when removed. Less invasive than hanging a TV.

  • "My HOA / condo board is strict about changes."

We work inside your unit only. Nothing modifies the building exterior, plumbing or shared spaces.

  • "What if I travel for 3+ weeks?"

Tell us your trip dates. We schedule an extra visit, water deeper, your plants outlive your trip. Half our clients are gone every summer.

  • "I'm worried about humidity or mold."

We use sealed substrates and choose species by your humidity profile. We measure on the first visit and avoid anything that pushes RH over 65%.

  • "Will the plants give me allergies?"

We screen for pollen producers in every residential brief. Most of our species are foliage-only — they don't flower.

  • "Can you work around my furniture or interior designer?"

Yes. We collaborate with your existing designer or stylist, and our install crew protects floors and adjacent furniture with cloth on every visit.
